Davest is an electronic artist whose performances merge emotional storytelling with dancefloor intensity. Drawing on influences from house, progressive, techno, future rave and lately bounce groove and psytrance, his sets are known for their hypnotic builds, euphoric drops, and seamless transitions that guide audiences on a journey. Every performance is designed not just to make people dance, but to make them feel.
He studied a Diploma of Music Production at Melbourne Polytechnic, complementing his training with specialized online courses in electronic music production, sound design, and mixing. His influences range from global icons like Tiësto, Deorro, Armin Van Buuren and KSHMR to the pulsating genres of house, progressive house, techno, rave and trance.
As a DJ, Davest first stepped into the spotlight as a wildcard contestant in the Your Shot competition, performing to a live crowd for the first time. Since then, he has honed his craft across venues like the Alderman Bar, the Boiler on chapel and Radio Bar open decks in Melbourne, RoninClub and Japi Bar in Bogota and intimate parties, developing a style defined by uplifting energy, immersive progressions, and crowd-moving melodies.
With his debut single “Never Lose Yourself” and standout live performances at events like Your Shot Australia, Davest is carving out his place as a rising force in melodic electronic music. His project represents more than sound—it’s a stamp of joy, hope, and forward-looking energy, designed to leave listeners inspired long after the music ends.
